This heavy gauge chainmail bracelet is handcrafted in solid 925 sterling silver and paired with a central textured plate forged in solid 999 fine silver. The surface is deliberately raw, marked and worked by hand, contrasting with the polished density of the chain structure.

At its center sits a natural amethyst, framed by two labradorites that shift in light. The composition balances strength, texture and luminosity.

Rooted in ancient chainmail traditions, the Byzantine weave provides structural integrity and weight. The addition of fine silver and natural stones transforms the piece into a singular object.

Over centuries, the weave evolved from functional armour into ornamental metalwork, admired for its complexity and symmetry. Today, it remains one of the most intricate and structurally distinctive chain patterns in silversmithing.
